Born in Istanbul and now based in Sussex, I am a visual artist and an MFA graduate of the University of Brighton. Working primarily through painting and mixed media, my practice moves between image and sensation, circling the instability of perception and the fragile ways reality is constructed.
Through translucent layers and accumulated material, I build surfaces where form resists fixed definition, emerging gradually through light, depth, and erosion. Painting becomes a space of slow revelation, where seeing is not passive but an act of continual reassembly shaped by memory, psychology, and shifting attention.
My work has been recognized with several national awards and exhibited across the United Kingdom and internationally. It moves between the physical presence of the painted surface and the ephemeral conditions of looking, holding both together in a state of quiet uncertainty.
